Title: BentonSun Solar Garden Site
Description: SunShare and OxBlue produced this time-lapse video of the construction of the 6.855 megawatt (MWdc) BentonSun Solar Garden Site in Norwood Young America – the only co-located community solar project in Minnesota to have residential subscribers in 2016! These 697 Minnesota subscribers are playing a part in creating a cleaner, healthier environment for their communities while saving money on their electricity bills. The solar project sits on 40 acres and produces approximately 9,158,280 kilowatt hours (kWh) per year – equivalent to 6,868,058 pounds of burned coal! The community solar garden is owned by BentonSun, LLC, and managed by Real Capital Solutions.
